Cumberland County Man Arrested on Narcotics Charges
On April 21, 2026, Detectives with the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit were conducting proactive patrol in the La Grange area when they observed a vehicle swerving outside of its lane of travel. Detectives initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Dupree Turner, 39, of Fayetteville, North Carolina.
During the course of the stop, Detectives located cocaine in Turner’s possession. Turner was taken into custody and transported to the Lenoir County Jail without incident.
Turner has been charged with the following offenses:
PWISD Cocaine
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Turner received a $10,000 secured bond.
