LCSO: Arrest Made Following Suspicious Vehicle Call
On March 29, 2026, deputies with the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office A Shift responded to the area of Bank School Road in reference to a suspicious vehicle.
Upon arrival, deputies located a vehicle parked in the middle of an intersection with no lights on. Deputies made contact with the occupants and, during the course of the investigation, conducted a search of the vehicle. The search resulted in the discovery of narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
The driver, Curtis Ramsey, a 41-year-old male from Lenoir County, was taken into custody and charged with Felony Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine). Ramsey was transported to the Lenoir County Jail, where he was placed under a no bond hold pending a first appearance.
The passenger, Kelly Martin, a 38-year-old female from Lenoir County, was also taken into custody. Martin was charged with Felony Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Possession of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was transported to the Lenoir County Jail and placed under a $15,000 secured bond.
