Kinston Police Arrest Suspect Following Breaking and Entering

On April 27, 2026, at approximately 10:44 p.m., KPD’s B-Squad responded to a report of a breaking and entering on the 400 block of W. Lenoir Avenue.

Officers arrived on scene and began clearing the structure. During the search, officers located 20-year-old Isaiah Briggs-Hall inside a bathroom. Briggs-Hall refused to comply with officers’ commands, resisted arrest, and assaulted officers. He was subsequently taken into custody.

Briggs-Hall was charged with the following:

- Breaking and Entering

- Resisting a Public Officer

- Assault on a Government Official

- Possession of Marijuana

At the time of this release, Briggs-Hall remains in custody at the Lenoir County Jail.
