Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Offers “Special Needs Occupant” Vehicle Stickers

The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office is now offering “Special Needs Occupant” stickers to members of the community. These stickers are designed to help first responders quickly identify when a vehicle occupant may have special needs, allowing for a more informed and effective response during emergency situations.

The stickers are available for pickup at the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office, located at 130 South Queen Street in Kinston.

Sheriff Jackie Rogers encourages residents who may benefit from this program to take advantage of the availability of these stickers. “This is a simple but important tool that can assist first responders in providing the best possible care during an emergency,” said Sheriff Rogers.

Sheriff Rogers would like to extend his appreciation to the citizens who contacted him and presented the idea for the “Special Needs Occupant” sticker program. Their initiative and input have helped enhance public safety and strengthen the partnership between the Sheriff’s Office and the community.
