La Grange juvenile charged in motor vehicle break ins

On October 6 and October 7, 2026, the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office received multiple reports of vehicles being broken into and items taken from the vehicles. Detectives with the General Investigations Division conducted multiple follow-ups and interviews following the initial reports. During the investigation, detectives identified one of the suspects as a 15-year-old male from La Grange.

As a result of the investigation, the 15-year-old male was charged with sixteen counts of Felony Break/Enter a Motor Vehicle and eight counts of Misdemeanor Larceny.
