Humphrey presents Allstate Foundation Helping Hands Grant to LCC

Allstate Agent and NC Representative Chris Humphrey (second from left) presented a $500 Helping Hands Grant from The Allstate Foundation to Lenoir Community College President Dr. Rusty Hunt. The grant was awarded in recognition of Humphrey’s dedicated service to the LCC Foundation and the educational opportunities the Foundation provides.

Humphrey began his educational journey at LCC, where he was active in the Student Government Association, earned academic awards, and graduated with honors. A long-time supporter of education in the region, he has served on the LCC Foundation Board of Directors since 2003 and has also been a member of the LCC Board of Trustees.

“It’s very rewarding to be an active part of the community and to support an organization that is able to make such a difference in people’s lives,” Humphrey said.
