Pedestrian struck by vehicle on King Street extension

On June 18, 2025, at 8:59 PM, officers with the Kinston Police Department's D-Squad responded to the Nature Center on King Street Extension following a report of an individual walking in the roadway.

As officers arrived on scene, the pedestrian, Gloria Reddick  (65 of Kinston), was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Angelica Aguilar (20).

Ms. Reddick was transported to ECU Health by Lenoir County EMS. She is currently listed in stable condition.  This incident remains under investigation and more information may be released at a later time.
