Obituary: Peggy Dunn Moore Eubanks

Peggy Dunn Moore Eubanks, 79, of Kinston, passed away on June 3, 2025, at home surrounded by family and loved ones after a hard-fought battle with a recent cancer diagnosis.

Born on November 7, 1945, to the late Ernest and Elma Dunn, Peggy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She retired from Field Controls in Kinston, NC, and continued working as a caregiver for many elderly individuals until her health declined.

Peggy enjoyed traveling and fishing and especially enjoyed dancing and listening to country and beach music. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family.

She is survived by her children, Debra Swaney (Craig); Billy Moore (Tina); and Kimberly Webb (Larry); her sister, Gladys Parker; grandchildren, Adam, Jared, Cody (Angel), Janna (Zach), Jeremy and Karissa; and great-grandchildren, Dylan, Jesse, Ava, Emmanuel, Mark, Alaric, Blakelynn, Alex, and Liam.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Casco Randall Moore and Arthur Lee Eubanks; seven siblings, Estelle, Betty, Thelma, Betty Lou, George, William, Charlie, and a grandchild Christina Lee.
