Kinston man arrested after hiding in outbuilding with firearm

A convicted felon was arrested by Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office deputies Tuesday after he was found hiding in an outbuilding with a firearm.

Henry Todd Miller, 47, of Kinston was arrested in an outbuilding on Andy Lane in Kinston and charged with felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was also served with several outstanding orders for arrest for failing to appear in court on other charges.

The situation started when LCSO deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on Wendy Lane in Kinston. When they arrived at the residence, it was discovered that Miller had left the scene. LCSO Street Crimes and Ready Response (SCARR) officers soon located Miller inside the outbuilding on Andy Lane and he was arrested.

Miller was booked into the Lenoir County Jail under a total secured bond of $43,000 for all charges.
