Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office investigating theft of power transformer in Deep Run
On November 13, 2025, at approximately 1:30 a.m., a power transformer used to provide electricity to Deep Run residents was stolen from the 3700 block of Old Highway 11. The theft was carried out by individual(s) operating the suspect vehicle shown below.
Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are actively investigating this incident and working to identify those responsible.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance. Anyone with information related to this case, the individuals involved, or the suspect vehicle is urged to contact the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office at 252-559-6118. Tips may be provided anonymously.
