As the curtain rises on The Sound of Music at Lenoir Community College, more talented performers are stepping into the spotlight. From first-timers to returning cast members, this group brings energy, heart, and a whole lot of personality to the stage.

Ava Wade is a seventh grader at Frink Middle School and an FMS cheerleader. She has danced with Mooves Dance Studio for 10 years and performs with the traveling troupe. The Sound of Music marks her third LCCFPA production, following Matilda and School of Rock.

Michael Bryant is a Kinston, NC resident and LCC Lancers fan. He works at Ruby Tuesday managing the garden bar, washing dishes, and entertaining guests with impressions. He aspires to be a voice actor, performing characters like Mario Bros., Mickey Mouse, and SpongeBob.

Michael McGann is excited to be on stage for his second production at LCC. This year, he appeared in Something Rotten and the College’s production of Anastasia. He is thankful for the opportunity to make art and wishes the best of luck to his wife, Rebecca, who plays Elsa.

Savannah-Lynn Moye resides in Greenville, NC, with her loving family. She has been dancing, singing, and performing since she was two. Moye is grateful for the opportunity to share her talent with Eastern NC as part of The Sound of Music. She thanks her family and friends for their love and support.

Temwa Chitalo is grateful for her supportive family, without whom this opportunity wouldn’t be possible. She loves the arts, mustard, and her time spent working on The Sound of Music.

Thomas Humphrey appears in his fourth LCCFPA show. A talented 14-year-old actor, his roles include Freddy Jones in School of Rock, with ensemble appearances in Hello, Dolly! and Anastasia. When he’s not performing, he enjoys playing guitar and studying a wide range of musical genres.

Thurman Sanders is a current student at Lenoir Community College. An artist who loves drawing and painting portraits, he has appeared in A Christmas Carol, White Christmas, School of Rock, and Hello, Dolly! He loves dancing and performing throughout Lenoir County.

Eric Hall lives in Kinston, NC, with his dad. He enjoys helping with the set and working backstage for every show. He thanks his dad for supporting him and bringing him to every rehearsal and performance—none of this would be possible without him.
