Narcotic Investigation Leads to Arrest of Lenoir County Woman
A narcotics investigation conducted by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of a Lenoir County woman on multiple drug trafficking charges.
On November 6, 2025, Rachel Nicole Smith, 32, of Deep Run, was served with an outstanding warrant for her arrest by the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office. The arrest of Smith stems from an ongoing investigation by Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic Detectives into the distribution of fentanyl throughout Lenoir County.
Smith has been charged with the following offenses:
Trafficking Opium or Heroin (x3)
Smith received a $300,000 secured bond and is currently housed in the Lenoir County Jail.
