Kinston Police Department: Juveniles Apprehended Following B&E
On September 30, 2025, at approximately 1:47 p.m., officers from the Kinston Police Department’s B-Squad responded to a report of juveniles inside a vacant residence in the 600 block of Greenmeade Drive.
Upon arrival, three juveniles fled the scene on foot. A 17-year-old male was quickly apprehended and found to be in possession of approximately 95 grams of marijuana.
During a search of the area, officers located a second 17-year-old male lying in the wood line between Greenmeade Drive and Queen Street. A third suspect, a 14-year-old male, was taken into custody by the Kinston High School School Resource Officer after fleeing onto the school campus.
All three juveniles were released into the custody of their guardians. Officers are working with Juvenile Justice officials to obtain juvenile petitions related to the incident.
