Letter to the editor: I’m extremely concerned for our country

I’m extremely concerned for our country! I’m concerned about the cataclysmic direction in which our weak, misinformed administration is leading us. In my opinion we are headed straight toward socialism and Marxism -- and that is a proven recipe for a failed society and disaster!
Recently I came across a pamphlet titled “Little Book of Liberal Lies” which puts our plight in perspective, for it exposes three lies that “Jim Crow Joe” Biden and the left use to enslave Black Americans to the Democratic “Plantation” Party.
By way of introduction to the book, black Senator Elbert Guillory (R., LA, Ret.) said: “To my black brother or sister, I made national headlines when I abandoned the government plantation and party of disappointment, otherwise known as the Democratic Party. My reason? Democrats have hijacked and enslaved the black community. Now I’m fighting to break that chain once and for all . . .. If nothing else, I hope your eyes are opened to the fact that Nancy Pelosi, Vice President Harris, President ‘Jim Crow Joe’ Biden, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (the left’s newest loon) and ALL liberals don’t care about me, you, the black community, or freedom. They only care about one thing: CONTROL .. . . I pray you’ll join me today by rejecting your modern-day slave master and abandon the Democratic platform and party of disappointment while turning to the true party of freedom. The party of Frederick Douglas, Abraham Lincoln, and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.”
Here’s a resume of the three liberal lies he refers to:
LIBERAL LIE #1: ALL REPUBLICANS ARE RACIST
Senator Guillory (Ret.) became known as the “Democrats Worst Nightmare” because he destroyed their first lie: The lie that all Republicans are racist. “If I expose this lie to the Black American, the Democrats would lose their stronghold of the black community, and if they lose that, they’ll lose what they want most: CONTRIOL.” Here are a few quotes from prominent Democrats to stress the truth that the real home of Racism is the Democratic Party:
President Woodrow Wilson (D) (Racist Father of Modern-Day Progressivism): “The white men were roused by a mere instinct of self-preservation – until at last there had spring into existence a great Ku Klux Klan, a veritable empire of the South to protect the Southern country.”
President Harry Truman (D) (Unabashed Racist). “I think one man is just as good as another so long as he’s not a n*gger or a Chinaman. He does hate Chinese and Japs. So do I. It is race prejudice, I guess. But I am strongly of the opinion Negroes ought to be in Africa and White men in Europe and America.”
President Lyndon Johnson (D): “I’ll have those n*ggers voting Democratic for the next 200 years.”
President Bill Clinton: “A few years ago [Barack Obama] would have been getting us coffee.”
Guillory then goes on to give similar racist quotes from other notable Democrats such as Senator Harry Reid, Rev. Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Hillary Clinton, and Margaret Sanger (Birth Control Activist and Racist).
LIBERAL LIE #2: DEMOCRATS ARE CHAMPIONS OF CIVIL LIBERTIES.
Here’s some of the real history the Democrats don’t want you to know:
The Democratic Party created the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) after the Confederacy’s defeat in the Civil War.
Jim Crow segregation laws in the South were created by Democrats looking to overturn Republican Civil right laws.
Democrats supported the Dred Scott Supreme Court decision that said, “A negro whose ancestors were imported into [the U.S.] and sold as slaves, whether enslaved or free could not be an American citizen. This decision was 7-2 with all Democrat judges voting in favor and the Republican and Whig dissenting.
Immediately after taking office in 1913, President Woodrow Wilson (D) fired most blacks who worked in the Federal government and resegregated the Treasury Department, Mail Service, and the Navy.
Governor George Wallace (D-AL) stood in front of the Alabama school house in 1963, fighting to keep segregation permanent.
Democratic public safety commissioner Eugene “Bill” Connor, in Birmingham, Al, unleashed attack dogs and turned fire hoses on civil rights demonstrators.
Here’s what the Democrats don’t want you to know about the Republican Party as the real Party of Civil Rights:
The Republican Party was founded in 1854 as an abolitionist movement with one single creed: Slavery is a violation of the Rights of Man.
Famous African American abolitionist Frederick Douglas called the Republican Party the “Party of Freedom and Progress . . . I never intend to belong to any other party than the Party of Freedom and Progress.”
The first Republican President was Abraham Lincoln – the author of the Emancipation Proclamation, then freeing the slaves, much to the Democrats’ horror.
Republicans in Congress authored the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments to the Constitution. 94% of the Republican Senators and 96% of Republican House members voted in favor of the 14th Amendment guaranteeing due process of lives to blacks and all Americans. All Congressional Democrats votes against it.
Nearly all Congressional Republicans voted in favor of passing the 15th Amendment, guaranteeing blacks the right to vote. Every single Democrat voted NO.
President Dwight D. Eisenhauer (R) championed the Civil Rights Act of 1957. It was unanimously supported by Republicans and opposed by Democrats in the Senate who filibustered it.
Former Klansman Senator Robert Byrd (D. WVA) and longest serving U.S. Senator (51 years), said: “Rather than I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the black species from the wild.”
LIBERAL LIE #3: THE DEMOCRATS’ AGENDA IS BEST FOR BLACK AMERICANS.
Senator Guillory wants us to keep these points in mind:
The Democrats are only interested in one thing, CONTROL. They’re only “charitable” with other people’s money – and that’s exactly how they control and enslave black Americans. He says that “The idea that black, or anyone for that matter, need government to get ahead in life is despicable!”
Liberal policies have failed the black community. Black Americans vote over 90% Democrat, but communities are just as poor as they’ve always been. Look at the razed city of Detroit – a liberal controlled hell-hole!
Our schools continue to fail children. In fact, President Biden has already promised to roll back Trump’s successful and popular school choice program that has benefited black children in cities across the country. “Biden’s a complete racist hack!”
Liberalism has destroyed black America. They don’t care about liberty. They don’t care about freedom. Biden and Harris filled prisons with way too many young men who should be at home raising their children and caring for their families. Harris even bragged about how many black men she locked up for minor offences! Now they’re going to pack them even more.
“Liberals could care less about African Americans like me and you! That’s why I decided to leave the Democratic Party in 2013. Most people said it was a bold decision. I didn’t think so. I think it was the right decision. Not only for me, but for all my brothers and sisters in the black community.”
Guillory ends with these stirring words about freedom:
“Freedom is the idea that parents must be the decision maker in regards to their children’s education. Not some governmental bureaucrat. Most importantly, freedom is the idea that the individual must be free to pursue his own happiness free from government control. Because to be free is to be reliant on no one other than the author of our destiny – almighty God. These are the ideas at the core of the Republican Party and conservatism.
