Kinston Regional Jetport receives $2.5 million grant from NCDOT

Washington, D.C. – On Thursday, August 5th the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) announced a State Economic Development Funds grant in the amount of $2,500,000.00 for the Kinston Regional Jetport in Kinston, NC. This grant will help the Kinston Regional Jetport make significant improvements to their apron, taxiway, and parking.

Congressman Greg Murphy (NC-03) issued the following statement in response:

“I want to extend my gratitude to the North Carolina Department of Transportation for their continued support of our Third Congressional District,” said Murphy. “I am confident that this grant will make a big difference for workers and visitors at the Kinston Regional Jetport as they implement much-needed infrastructure repairs.”
