Governor Roy Cooper signed Executive Order 229. The Executive Order extends several provisions outlined in Executive Order 224 that direct the State Health Director to issue statewide standing orders for testing and vaccination.

At the September 13th Lenoir County Public Schools board meeting, Chairman Bruce Hill admonished the public on when it’s appropriate to contact a school board member. Kinston Police: Arrest made in connection with shooting

On Saturday, September 18th, 2021, at approximately 3:50 pm, Kinston Police Officers responded to shots fired near the 1100 block of Pollock St. Kinston, N.C. Officers arrived on scene and located the victim, Rashad O’Neil, 25, of Kinston.
