Letter to the editor: Dawn G. Stroud in support of Chris Humphrey
It has been an honor to serve as your Lenoir County Clerk of Court for the past 18 years. I have worked with thousands of local families through the Estate process, Adoptions, Civil and Criminal cases.
I have also had the privilege to work with Representative Chris Humphrey when he served as a Lenoir County Commissioner for 8 years. Chris has been a good friend to Lenoir County ever since. He has supported our court system and law enforcement.
He and I have worked on several related issues and I have found Chris to be accessible and effective in the North Carolina General Assembly. When I have needed him to help Lenoir County, he has been receptive and available to serve the citizens of NC House District 12.
That is why I am endorsing him for re-election to the NC House. My family and I plan to vote for him, and I hope you will consider voting for him, too.
