Growing up, I hated school and everything about it. I hated learning and waking up at 7:30 and how I couldn't understand what others could; having ADHD makes learning a lot harder. I needed more help, a slowed-down pace, and smaller class sizes.
When Taylor Lowry, an 18-year-old from Chesapeake, Virginia, leaves her home twice a week to make the two-hour-and-forty-five-minute drive to Lenoir Community College’s Greene County Center, it’s not just for any welding course. Lowry is pursuing her goal of one day becoming a welding inspector, and the self-paced Mixed Welding course taught by Justin Harvell is her first step on that journey.

Personally, I'm one of those who starts celebrating Christmas at midnight on November 1. I absolutely love Christmas and want to celebrate it as long and as soon as possible.

Lenoir County Superior Court Judge Imelda J. Pate signed a consent judgment resulting from a Chapter 19 Nuisance Abatement action regarding the property at 445 and 453 Pear Street in Kinston, in the Jackson Heights community.
