The public is hereby advised that per G.S. 159-12, the City Manager has submitted the proposed budget for the City of Kinston for FY 2025-2026 to the Mayor and the City Council. A copy of the proposed budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2026 is on file in the office of the City Clerk, the Public Library and on the City of Kinston's website, www.kinstonnc.gov.

The Public is hereby advised that the Executive Director will be submitting the Proposed Budget for the Neuse Regional Water and Sewer Authority (NRWASA) for FY2025/2026 to the Directors of the Authority. Copies of the Proposed Budget are on file at the office of the NRWASA.

The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA-Part B, Public Law 108.446) Project is presently being amended. The Project describes the special education programs that Jones County Public School proposes for Federal funding for the 2025-2026 School Year.
A meeting will be held on May 13, 2025, from 3:00 pm – 4:00 p.m. at Jones County Board of Education, 320 West Jones Street Trenton, NC 28585. The purpose of this meeting is to consult with private schools and parents of parentally placed private school students as well as home-schooled students.
North Carolina has a continuing CHILD FIND procedure in place to locate all children with disabilities residing in the State, including children with disabilities attending private schools, regardless of the severity of their disability, and who are in need of special education and related services.
