Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 13, 2023 at Pinelawn Memorial Park with Rev. Jimmy Sowers officiating.
Carlton Ray Thigpen, Jr., 86, of Kinston passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at his home. Visitation will be held 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Garner Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 13, 2023 at Pinelawn Memorial Park with Rev. Jimmy Sowers officiating with Military honors.
Reginald Hamilton “Reg” Braxton, Jr., 67, passed away on March 8, 2023. At his request there will be no services.
Mary Darden Killingsworth Tyndall, 75, of Kinston, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at her home. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Shady Grove Church with Pastor Greg Dickerson officiating. A private burial will be held.
Nicole C. Croom, 79, of Kinston went to be with her Lord on Monday, February 6, 2023, at UNC Lenoir Health Care. A celebration of Nicole’s life will be held on Saturday, March 4, at 11:00 a.m., at Faith Fellowship Church, with visitation following the service.
Janet Johnson, 75, of Kinston, NC, passed away on Thursday, February 23rd, 2023, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 28th, 2023, at 11am at Pinelawn Memorial Park, with Pastor Merritt Watson and Dr. David Griffin officiating.
Larry Lee Howard, 66, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 11am in the Mark Smith Cemetery in Deep Run. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
Ms. Dianne Sutton Bradicich, age 74, passed away Tuesday morning, February 14, 2023, at her home in Lenoir County. Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Sunday, February 19th, at the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service with Pastor Hank Jarman officiating. Interment will follow at the Westview Cemetery in Kinston. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6 – 8 PM at the funeral home and other times at the home of Ms. Bradicich.

Interment will follow in the Chapman Family Cemetery in Grifton, NC. Viewing will be Friday, February 10, 2023 from 3pm to 6pm at the funeral home.

Donnie Ray Potter, age 74, of Kinston passed away peacefully surrounded by family Saturday, January 21, 2023, after a courageous battle following surgery and prolonged illness. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6pm on Thursday, January 26, at Tanglewood Church of God with Pastor Allen Stocks officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
