LCC Graphic Students Awarded PICA Scholarships

Two Lenoir Community College graphic students, Gregory Cox and Jonah Daniels, were recently awarded scholarships from the Printing Industry of the Carolinas (PICA). PICA is an industry association dedicated to protecting and promoting the common interest of the printing industry, and helping their members prosper, both individually and collectively, through fellowship, education, and cooperative action.

Senator Perry files NC REACH Act

Senator Jim Perry, (R- Craven, Beaufort, Lenoir) Majority Whip of the North Carolina Senate, is a primary sponsor of legislation to require three hours of instruction in American History or American Government for graduation from the Universities in the UNC System and North Carolina Community Colleges.

El Centro Hispano Visits LCC

Lenoir Community College was honored Thursday with the visit of El Centro Hispano. “We had a great and productive time learning from each other and discussing ideas to work together to better serve our Hispanic/Latino/Latinx students and their community,” said LCC Workforce Development and Latino Programs Associate Dean Carlos Cotto.
