Greene Central’s Sidney Ramsey has been accepted into the Governor's School. Ramsey will go to Governor's School East, which is located at Meredith College. Governor's School is a 4-week summer residential program to prepare students for college. This program is for gifted and talented rising seniors.
South Lenoir High School Junior, Sydney McLawhorn has been accepted into Governor School West. She will be focusing on mathematics at Winston- Salem State University.
