Deputies with the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office narcotics and SCARR units arrested a 49-year-old man for several drug charges.
Christina Graham Tresloni, 39, of the Bryce Hardison Road area, was served arrest warrants by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday, Oct. 25. The warrants were the result of an ongoing narcotics investigation involving fentanyl and methamphetamine.
KPD Officers responded to the LC Magistrate Office to serve warrants on Edward Stocks (36, Pinetops NC). During processing, officers located methamphetamine on Stocks. In addition to the warrant service, Stocks was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.
Attorney General Josh Stein visited Kinston to discuss issues related to violent crime in North Carolina. The meeting, hosted by Mayor Don Hardy, was attended by local leaders, law enforcement officials, and community members.
KPD officers responded to a Kinston residence in reference to an abduction of two juveniles. The juveniles had been previously placed into foster care by DSS and were living with foster parents. The investigation revealed that the juveniles biological mother, Kimberley Westbrooke (34, Greenville, NC), had violated orders and abducted the children from their foster home.
On Friday, October 20, 2023, with assistance from community members, quick action from officers, and help from our newest recruit K-9 Knox, Ralph Nobles was apprehended in a wooded area near the 100 block of S. Orion Street.
On Thursday, October 19th, 2023, members of the Kinston Police Department were able to obtain warrants for the arrest of Devonte Cantey, 23, of Kinston, for the shooting of Tabias Williams and Tamir Cobb.
On Thursday, October 19th, 2023, members of the Kinston Police Department and Lenoir County Sheriffs began working diligently to apprehend those responsible for the murder of Jaliek Pridgen.
On Thursday, October 19th, 2023, at approximately 1:30 pm, Kinston Police Officers responded to the 400 block of Clay St. Kinston in reference to a report of two individuals who had been shot. Officers arrived on the scene to find two individuals, each suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
On Tuesday, October 17th, 2023, at approximately 10:00 a.m., members of the Kinston Police Department responded to First National Bank located at 1101 W. Vernon Ave. Kinston in reference to a robbery. Upon arrival, officers met with the victims, who advised that an unknown white male entered the bank and demanded money. The suspect was believed to be armed and fled on foot after receiving cash from the teller.

The Lenoir County Sheriff, Jackie Rogers has confirmed that local law enforcement is at the 200 block of Taylor Heath Road in reference to a home invasion. The authorities are looking for three African-American males in all black wearing ski masks.
Snow Hill - According the the Snow Hill PD Facebook post, On 09/18/2023 SHPD responded to St. James AME Zion Church located on W. Harper Street. The church had been forcefully broken into, and the tithes and offerings had been stolen.
Officers attempted to conduct a vehicle stop with Kelly Luke for suspicion of Driving While Impaired. Luke refused to stop the vehicle and left the city limits. Officers pursued Luke at very low speeds, until she eventually came to stop. Luke was arrested and charged with the following:

According to the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office, a Wallace man has been arrested for the murder of Anthony Harris of La Grange. “I would like to acknowledge the hard work by our investigators in this case,” Lenoir County Sheriff Jackie Rogers said. “They worked around the clock to make sure we caught the person who committed this crime. The residents of Lenoir County are lucky to have such dedicated public servants protecting them.”
The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office has obtained warrants for the arrest of Kegan Van Damke of Lewisville in regards to the break-in reported at Woodington Middle School. Damke has not yet been taken into custody. KPD officers responded to a stabbing that occurred on the 900 block of E Bright St. The investigation led to the arrest of Demonsha Carr and Branden Pridgen. Both offenders were charged with Attempted 1st Degree Murder and placed in the LC Jail under a secured bond.
The deceased body of Anthony Harris, 51, was discovered at his residence on ND’s Lane in La Grange today. While the cause of death has not been determined, the LCSO is investigating the death as a homicide.
