Authorities looking for three men after home invasion on Taylor Heath Road

The Lenoir County Sheriff, Jackie Rogers has confirmed that local law enforcement is at the 200 block of Taylor Heath Road in reference to a home invasion. The authorities are looking for three African-American males in all black wearing ski masks.

Two injuries are reported. One person was taken to Vidant and the other UNC Lenoir. The injuries were a result of being assaulted.

The home in question has been searched, as have several properties and the wooded area close by the residence. LCSO deputies are still in the area searching.

“We have not located the suspects and it is still unknown if they left the area on foot or in a vehicle,” Lenoir County Sheriff Jackie Rogers said. “We believe this was a targeted attack. We don’t believe there is any danger to the public.”
