On May 30, 2025, at 11:05 a.m., officers from KPD’s D-Squad conducted a traffic stop on Highway 70 West. The driver, Michael Bridgers Jr., 26, of Macclesfield, NC, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and marijuana after K9 Kilo assisted in a vehicle search.
Adrian Dudley, 33, was stopped by Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes and Rapid Response (SCARR) team members for an equipment violation. During the stop, probable cause was established and a search was conducted of the vehicle.
Carlos Earl Field, 33, of Hookerton, was arrested Wednesday at a residence on Caswell Street in Kinston after investigators seized more than 2 ounces of heroin from Field at the residence.
A-Squad was conducting a checkpoint on Airport Rd. During the checkpoint, officers encountered Robert Etheridge (49) of Fayetteville, NC. During the encounter officers conducted a probable cause search. The search lead to discovery of marijuana, Psilocybin Mushrooms, THC vape pens, THC wax and US currency.

On July 29, 2021, Donald Allen Day of Kinston, North Carolina was arrested, pursuant to a narcotics investigation conducted by the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit. During the investigation Detectives made multiple controlled purchases of crystal methamphetamine from Day in the Lenoir County area. Detectives seized just over three ounces of crystal methamphetamine during the investigation.
On July 21, 2021, Joshua Zachariah Allen Lane of Kinston, North Carolina was arrested, pursuant to a narcotics investigation conducted by the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit. During the investigation Detectives made multiple controlled purchases of crystal methamphetamine from Lane in the Lenoir County area. Detectives seized just over four ounces of crystal methamphetamine during the investigation.
On December 21, 2020, Tony Ray Tucker of Kinston was arrested pursuant to a narcotics investigation conducted by the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office.
