Dan Perry: Why Christians must speak up and restore the sacred oath in Congress

I am of the opinion that many of us patriotic Americans are not fully aware of how the left is moving to kick God out of our country.
We know a little in general, but are you aware that liberals on a key House Committee erased the words “so help me God” from the sacred oath given to witnesses before Congress.
We may say and exclaim that that’s outrageous! How can that be? But with one little change at a time America’s Judeo-Christian foundation is CRUMBLING before our very eyes. . . until our right to publicly acknowledge God – to honor Him and train our children in faith no matter where we are – is a crime.
This latest move to remove mention of God from Congressional oaths is no isolated case. It’s part of the strategy that the Radical left has employed for decades aimed at turning our country into an atheist, anti-God, socialist nightmare!
Don’t you see what’s happening? Liberals are removing God because they want government to take His place.
The left wants government to be our God. They want government to decide what your rights are.
The truth is when government “gives” you your rights, then government can take those as well as our God-given rights away.
Folks, let’s make sure America’s story doesn’t end with the destruction of our Religious Freedom. Let’s not whittle away the pillars of faith, that over 245 years of Americans have fought so hard to maintain.
That’s why I have signed a RESTORE the Oath petition to be sent to Members of Congress. . . to let Washington know that Christians will NOT STAY SILENT.
Godless liberals are counting on Christians to sit idly by while they remove God’s name from Congressional Oaths – and everything else that America is built on.
Let’s stand firm and let our countrymen know that Government is not our God! “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1).
