Deep Run Man Arrested for Methamphetamine
On August 12 at approximately 8:00 a.m., KPD’s B-Squad conducted a traffic stop on Dr. MLK Jr. Boulevard for a motor vehicle violation.
The driver, 34-year-old Walter Nethercutt of Deep Run, consented to a search of the vehicle. During the search, officers located methamphetamine, a smoking pipe, and a bowl containing marijuana.
Nethercutt was arrested and booked into the Lenoir County Jail for:
• Possession of Methamphetamine
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
• Possession of Marijuana up to ½ oz.
• Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia
