Lenoir County woman arrested for methamphetamine
On May 19, 2026, at approximately 4:03 p.m., officers with KPD’s C-Squad conducted a traffic stop on East Gordon Street near NC Highway 11 for a motor vehicle violation.
During the traffic stop, officers observed an open container of alcohol inside the vehicle and detected signs consistent with the presence of narcotics. A search was conducted, and the driver, 36-year-old Nikki Garner of Lenoir County, was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics.
Garner was arrested and charged with the following:
• Possession of Methamphetamine
• Possession of Marijuana
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
• Open Container of Alcohol
