LCSO: Lenoir County Sex Offender Arrested for Registration Violations
On June 1, 2026, Michael Raymond Boucher, 40, of Kinston, North Carolina, was arrested for failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements under North Carolina law.
The investigation began on April 10, 2026, after the Lenoir County Sheriffโs Office General Investigations Division received information that Boucher was in violation of the North Carolina Sex Offender Registry requirements. Detectives conducted an investigation and determined that Boucher had failed to notify the Lenoir County Sheriffโs Office of a change of address as required by law.
As a result of the investigation, Boucher was charged with the following offense:
โข One Count of Felony Failure to Report a New Address by a Sex Offender
Boucher received a $75,000 secured bond for the charge.
