๐ฎ:๐ฑ๐ญ ๐ฃ๐ : Kinston Police Department C-Squad conducted a traffic stop on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. for a motor vehicle violation. During the stop, officers identified the driver as 36-year-old Michael Cunningham of Ayden. A probable cause search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of a concealed firearm, methamphetamine, cocaine, THC wax, hydrocodone pills, drug paraphernalia, and U.S. currency. Cunningham was taken into custody without incident and placed in the Lenoir County Jail under a secured bond for the following charges:
Possession With Intent to Sell/Deliver Methamphetamine
PWIMSD Cocaine
Carrying Concealed Gun
Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance
Possession of Schedule VI Controlled Substance
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (2 counts)
๐ด:๐ฐ๐ฌ ๐ฃ๐ : A-Squad conducted a traffic stop on South Queen Street near US 70 for a motor vehicle violation. During the stop, K9 Knox conducted an open-air sniff of the vehicle and gave a positive indication for the presence of narcotics. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of methamphetamine inside a purse belonging to passenger 34-year-old Jamie Dula of LaGrange. Dula was arrested and placed in the Lenoir County Jail under a secured bond for the following charges:
Possession of Methamphetamine
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
๐ญ๐ฌ:๐ฑ๐ต ๐ฃ๐ : A-Squad conducted a traffic stop on Tower Hill Road for speeding. Officers made contact with the driver, 21-year-old Demaceus Dudley. During the investigation, officers suspected Dudley was impaired and conducted a DWI investigation. Dudley was arrested and placed in the Lenoir County Jail for the following charges:
Driving While Impaired
Driving While License Revoked

๐ต:๐ญ๐ฐ ๐๐ : C-Squad conducted a traffic stop on South Orion Street for a motor vehicle violation. Officers made contact with the driver, 36-year-old Capresha Jones of Kinston, along with passengers 40-year-old Anthony Wilson of Wilson and 33-year-old Demon Sessoms of Bailey. Based on observed narcotics violations, officers conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle. The search resulted in the discovery of cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and an open container of alcohol. Officers also discovered Wilson was wanted by the Department of Adult Correction.
Jones, Wilson, and Sessoms were arrested and placed in the Lenoir County Jail for the following charges:
