Jean Chapman-Hill: A Tribute To Mothers in Heaven and Earth
As Mother's Day approaches, we're reminded of the profound impact mothers have on our lives. On a cold winter day in January with snow lingering on the ground, God dispatched angels from Heaven to escorted Verna Mae Tillman Chapman to eternal glory, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories. Though her departure broke hearts, her virtuous spirit, eloquently described in Proverbs 31, continues to inspire.
Mother's love transcended material wealth; it was priceless. Trustworthy and faithful, she safeguarded her family with devotion. With elegance and poise, she taught us to present ourselves with dignity, instilling confidence that knew no bounds.
While many claim to have had the best mother, Linda Chapman, Joyce Chapman, Mildred Chapman-Rhodes, Marsha Chapman-Powell, Lisa Chapman-Dixon, and Kimberly Chapman humbly affirm that their mother was truly extraordinary. In the words of Tina Turner, "She was simply the best, better than all the rest."
This Mother's Day, many won't have their mothers by their side. Let's honor their memories by celebrating their lives. Say her name, display her picture, light a candle, and prepare her favorite dishes. Watch her favorite movie, share cherished moments with family, and keep her memory alive in your heart.
In remembering our mothers, we keep their love and legacy alive. Happy Mother's Day to all mothers, both here on earth and in heaven. May we continue to celebrate their love, beauty, and unwavering devotion.
