LCSO: Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Two on Outstanding Warrants

On March 21, 2026, deputies with the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office received information from concerned citizens regarding possible wanted subjects in the area of Hardy Bridge Road.

Deputies responded and located 29-year-old Jasmine Ebbert of Hookerton and 27-year-old Tomas Vega of Kinston. Both individuals were found to have outstanding warrants and orders for arrest from Greene and Lenoir counties and were taken into custody without incident.

Ebbert was turned over to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office for the following charges:

  • OFA (Felony) – Probation Violation

  • OFA (Felony) – Interfering with an Electronic Monitoring Device

Vega was transported to the Lenoir County Jail and placed under a secured bond. His charges include:

  • OFA (2 counts) – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

  • OFA (Felony) – Larceny of a Motor Vehicle

  • OFA (Felony) – Interfering with an Electronic Monitoring Device

  • WFA (Felony) – Interfering with an Electronic Monitoring Device

Sheriff Jackie Rogers stated, “We are grateful for the vigilant citizen who reported this information and helped our deputies take these individuals into custody.
