Duplin County Woman Arrested Following Larceny of Firearms Investigation

On Friday, February 27, a Duplin County woman was arrested following an investigation into the theft of multiple firearms from a Lenoir County residence.

On February 14, 2026, the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office began investigating an incident in which a residence was unlawfully entered and five firearms were stolen. Through investigative efforts, and with assistance from the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office, evidence was obtained that led to the identification of a suspect.

As a result of the investigation, warrants for arrest were issued for Kimberly Christina Harrell, 41, of Duplin County.

Harrell has been charged with the following offenses:

  • One count of Second-Degree Burglary

  • One count of Larceny of a Firearm

Harrell is currently being held at the Duplin County Jail under a $30,000 secured bond.
