Lenoir County resident named executive director of American Heart Association for Eastern North Carolina

Lenoir County resident Erin Bright Fox has been named executive director of the American Heart Association for Eastern North Carolina.

Fox announced the new role this week, noting she has been with the organization for more than nine years. In her new position, she will lead the association’s efforts across Eastern North Carolina, focusing on advancing its mission to improve heart health and overall wellness throughout the region.

“I’m honored to begin this new role,” Fox said, adding that she looks forward to working with and leading the organization’s Eastern North Carolina team.

The American Heart Association is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke through research, education, and community-based initiatives.
