American Red Cross blood drive scheduled in Kinston on Jan. 23
The American Red Cross will host a community blood drive on Thursday, Jan. 23, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Kinston Lenoir County Parks and Recreation Fairfield Center Fellowship Hall, located at 800 Greenbriar Road.
The drive is sponsored by the Kinston Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and is open to the public. Appointments are encouraged and can be made by visiting redcrossblood.org or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
Donors who give blood between Jan. 1 and Jan. 25 will be entered for a chance to win a trip for two to Super Bowl LX in California, according to the Red Cross.
