Lenoir County Sex Offender Arrested for Registration Violations
On Saturday, January 3rd, a Lenoir County man was arrested for failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements under North Carolina law.
Jerry Miller, 37, was taken into custody by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s SCARR unit following an investigation conducted by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office General Investigations Division. The investigation began in November 2025 after authorities received a tip from Michigan.
Miller was charged with failure to register as a sex offender with the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office. He is currently being held at the Lenoir County Jail without bond.
