flyExclusive confirms limited employee relocation to Raleigh
flyExclusive has confirmed that it plans to relocate fewer than 100 employees from Kinston to Raleigh over the next six months.
The information was provided by Jim Segrave, the company’s founder, chairman, and CEO. Segrave said formal advance notice was provided to affected employees and that approximately 30 positions have already been operating in Raleigh since October.
According to Segrave, flyExclusive employs more than 600 people in total. Fewer than 100 positions are transitioning to Raleigh. Departments affected include flight and maintenance control, finance, sales, marketing, and technology development. The relocation is permanent.
Segrave said the move is driven by access to a strong talent market in the Research Triangle area and the company’s ability to scale those operations.
He emphasized that Kinston will remain central to the company’s future. flyExclusive plans to continue expanding its maintenance operations at the Global TransPark and still intends to build a pilot training center in Kinston.
Segrave also said the company has remained in ongoing communication with local government and economic development partners regarding both relocation and expansion plans.
