Lily's Pizza and Subs 

2423 N Herritage Street, Kinston 

Date: 6/18

Score: 95.5

Observations: 

Food preparation sink had build-up in corners. 

Noodles and eggs in reach in cooler missing date marking. 

Employees observed wearing gold bracelet and watch. 

Wet wiping cloths folded up and set out on food prep table. 

Metal rolling rack underneath food preparation table and shelf holding microwave is soiled. 

Dark build up present along cook line floor area and under equipment. 

Peach House Restaurant

Observations: 

Employees need to wear effective hair restraints.

Observations: 

No one on site is a Certified Food Protection Manager. 

Three door lift top refrigerator has water standing in the bottom. 

Lighting in ladies restroom is short.

Sanitizer in bagel area too weak. 

Extra thermometers located in cup in the back kitchen coated in grease. 

Visibly soiled cutting board and pot located on clean drying rack. 

Dust buster stored on prep sink drain board. 

Build up visible on bottoms of coolers, as well as the doors and handles of the units, and shelving units. 

Sanitizer compartment in 3-comp sink will not hold water properly. 

Bojangles 

400 W Vernon Avenue, Kinston

Observations: 

Bottoms and shelves in coolers and counters have crumbs, spilled items from moving in and out, etc. 

Build up on gaskets of cooler doors. 

Leak still under 3 comp sink in back area of kitchen, where water is pooling on floor. 

Build up of food, debris, crumbs, etc. under equipment. 

Queen Street Deli & Bakery 

115 S Queen Street, Kinston

Observations: 

Items under lift top being held days past their discard date. 

Observed employee with hair partly pulled back and under hat, the front pieces were not well restrained. 

Shelves inside walk in cooler are rusting or sealant is wearing off. 

Build up observed on containers holding food items in cooler units, and in the bottoms of cooler units.
