KPD’s Project Safe and Sound
In light of this weekend’s events, we want to ensure that families in our community know about this important program designed to help protect individuals who may be at greater risk of wandering or going missing, such as those living with autism, dementia, or other cognitive challenges.
Project Safe & Sound allows families to provide key information to KPD in advance so if a loved one goes missing, officers have immediate access to details that can help locate them quickly and safely.
If you have a family member who may benefit from enrollment, please contact us to learn more about how this free program works.
