Lenoir County Chamber and LCC Launch ENC Nonprofit Roundtable

The Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce and the Lenoir Community College Small Business Center are excited to announce the launch of the ENC Nonprofit Roundtable, a new opportunity for local nonprofits to come together over a meal, learn from one another, and support each other to become more successful.

This new initiative comes as part of a growing partnership between the Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce and Lenoir Community College's Small Business Center, who are working together to support economic development by building capacity, growing entrepreneurial support networks, and promoting collaboration in Lenoir, Greene, and Jones counties. "Our partnership with the Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce is a great example of how we can leverage limited resources in our region to create a greater impact," said Dr. Rusty Hunt, President of Lenoir Community College. "By working together, we’re not just supporting local enterprises—we're investing in our regional economy."

This roundtable is for leaders and board members of nonprofits in Lenoir, Greene, and Jones counties. Meetings will be held on the second Wednesday of each month, giving nonprofit leaders a regular opportunity for professional development, networking, and sharing best practices.

"Nonprofits don’t just give back through their services—they also drive local economic activity," said Cale Grady, President of the Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce. “When a nonprofit secures a grant, it creates a ripple effect, supporting local suppliers, creating jobs, and strengthening our community's economic foundation."

Each monthly roundtable gathering will offer lunch and feature an educational presentation, lively discussions, and time to connect, making it a great resource for anyone involved in leading a nonprofit.

The first meeting will be on September 10, 2025, at the Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library auditorium from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.

There is no cost to attend, but registration is required so we can plan for lunch. All nonprofit leaders in Lenoir, Greene, and Jones counties are welcome to join.
