Help Wanted: Network Security Administrator
As a member of the Lenoir County Information Technology Department, you can make a difference! The IT Department is seeking candidates for a Network Security Administrator. Candidates work involves the design, install, configuration, maintenance, and support of computer systems within Lenoir County Government. This position must exercise immediate remedial action to correct any quality deficiencies that occur in their specific area of responsibility. Candidates for employment must be comfortable with communicating to intra-and interdepartmental personnel. Employees in this classification must have considerable knowledge of current data processing technology in hardware, software, and various applications.

Minimum Requirements:
• Graduate from a two-year college program with a major in network technologies, cybersecurity, computer operations, or related field.
• Must have considerable knowledge as a network technician, network engineer, or cybersecurity expert; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possess a valid North Carolina Driver’s License
• Pass a criminal background check
