Investigation leads to arrest in private image disclosure case
Kinston Police Department detectives conducted a follow-up investigation after receiving a report involving the unlawful disclosure of private images of an adult female victim. The victim reported that an acquaintance, 30-year-old Tysheem Mills, had posted private images of her on his social media account.
During the investigation, detectives reviewed Mills’ social media and located an explicit video depicting the victim. Based on the evidence gathered, detectives obtained warrants for Mills for the following charges:
- (Felony) Disclosure of Private Images – 2 counts
- Harassing Phone Calls – 2 counts
On December 2, 2025, KPD detectives, with assistance from C-Squad, took Mills into custody without incident. Mills is currently being held at the Lenoir County Jail.
