The Kinston/Lenoir Community Chorus is calling all singers to lend their voices to this year’s beloved performance of Handel’s Messiah. Whether you are a seasoned vocalist or simply love to sing, this is your opportunity to be part of a rich community tradition that brings together musicians from across the region.

Rehearsals will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 2101 N. Herritage Street, Kinston, on the following dates:

  • Sunday, November 16 at 2:00 PM (first rehearsal)

  • Sunday, November 23

  • Sunday, November 30

  • Sunday, December 7

The culminating performance will take place on Monday, December 8 at 7:00 PM, also at First Presbyterian Church.

All music scores and practice aids will be provided. No audition is required—just bring your voice, your enthusiasm, and a love for music.

This annual performance is more than a concert; it is a celebration of faith, unity, and artistry. Singers from all backgrounds are welcome to participate in carrying on this cherished holiday tradition.
