Lenoir County woman arrested on multiple outstanding warrants in La Grange

A woman with multiple outstanding warrants was arrested in La Grange earlier this week.

Shannon Scarlett, 39, of Kinston, had several arrest warrants for larceny, being a probation absconder and failure to appear. Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office narcotics unit and A-Shift deputies received information she was hiding at a residence on Lang Skinner Drive in La Grange.

On Tuesday, deputies made contact with Scarlett at the residence and placed her into custody. She is currently being held at the Lenoir County Jail under a secured bond for the above charges.
