The Kinston Police Department posted the following on their Facebook page:

On January 8th 2024, KPD’s Detectives received information from the Greenville Police VCAT Unit that Sherrod Jones Jr was hiding out in a residence on W Washington Ave.

Jones had recently been discharged from Federal Prison and was to report to State Prison to serve 36-48 months for Trafficking Heroin and Fentanyl. However, Jones never reported and fled from justice.
