Jan 26 Public Notice: Town of La Grange, NC Public Hearing Notice

TOWN OF LA GRANGE, NC

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

The Public shall take notice that on Monday, February 5th, 2024 at 6:00 p.m, during its regular meeting, the Town Council of the Town of La Grange will conduct three public hearings at the La Grange Town Hall, 203 South Center Street, La Grange, North Carolina. The purposes of the public hearings are as follows:

Pursuant to N.G.G.S §160-D-601, the Town Council of the Town of La Grange will hold a public hearing on a request from RBV Grange, LLC, Woodard and Ruby Gurley to rezone approximately 84.57 acres of property located on Ed Herring Road, more specifically identified by Lenoir County as Parcel Identification Number (PIN) 3557632857, and Record Number 16755 from AR (Agricultural-Residential) to R-12.

Pursuant to N.G.G.S §160-D-601, the Town Council of the Town of La Grange will hold a public hearing on a request from CCTaylor Development, LLC to rezone approximately 10.44 acres of property located on South Caswell Street, more specifically identified by Lenoir County as Parcel Identification Number (PIN) 3566156882, and Record Number 101407 from R-18 to R-10.

The Town Council of the Town of La Grange will hold a public hearing on the question of annexing the following described property, requested in a petition filed pursuant to N.C.G.S § 160A-31: The property of Woodard and Ruby Gurley, consisting of approximately 84.57 acres, located on Ed Herring Road (SR 1503), more specifically identified by Lenoir County as Parcel Identification Number (PIN) 3557632857, and Record Number 16755.

The purpose of these public hearings is to gather public comment and input on the proposed requests prior to consideration by the Town Council.
