10-year-old identified as responsible for most recent vandalism at Art 105

Officers with the Kinston Police Department have been investigating a series of vandalisms at Art 105, 105 W. Blount St., Kinston. The most recent incident occurred on February 13, 2023, that involved someone breaking the windows to the business. This incident was captured on security cameras that the business owner installed. On February 14, 2023, officers were able to identify a 10-year-old juvenile that was responsible and obtained a Juvenile Petition for this incident. This incident remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call the KPD Tip Line 252-939-4020 or Crime Stoppers 252-523-4444.
