Nurses Lane is recommended name for new road

The Kinston City Council passed a unanimous motion to recommend Nurses Lane as the name of the new road near Airport Road, where the Doctor’s Drive extension takes a right turn.

Now that the council has made their recommendation, the next step is for that name to be reviewed by the county, who will complete a full analysis. After that, the city will hold a public hearing to make the name official.
