InfinityLink Communications to bring broadband to La Grange

La Grange, North Carolina – The telecommunications company InfinityLink Communications has begun construction for the Fiber to the Home Network in the Town of La Grange.  This will be InfinityLink’s first commercially available 10Gig deployment.

“The Town is pleased to announce this fantastic development that brings state-of-the-art broadband infrastructure to the Town of La Grange,” said Town Manager John Craft.

Upon completion, over 1500 potential customers will be able to use this high-speed fiber-optic network, which will provide download speeds up to 10 GIG. This is over 10 times faster than the fastest speed offered by current service providers. InfinityLink will provide cutting-edge fiber-optic communications including high-speed Fiber Internet, phone, and HD TV.

“The Town was extremely fortunate and is grateful to have had the opportunity to support InfinityLink in its efforts to bring the fastest symmetrical fiber to the home network in North Carolina to La Grange,” said Craft.

The reliability of the network will be unmatched as InfinityLink has maintained greater than a 99.9% uptime on all core services over the past year, including throughout inclement weather conditions. Fiber is a must-have utility, as vital as power and water to many and a strong telecommunications network is a top economic development recruiting tool. Residents of La Grange will see the impact of this not only in their homes but in the local economy as well.

“Our citizens and businesses will soon have access to up to 10 Gb upload and download speeds; which can meet the needs of any resident, business, or industry for many years to come,” said Craft.

Residents will receive communication by mail about the construction activity in their neighborhood. As construction continues throughout La Grange customers may register for service. Those interested in InfinityLink services may visit www.infinitylink.com to be notified when their address is available for installation. Customers may also visit the office at 103 Heritage Xing, Snow Hill, NC 28580 and speak with customer service representatives and sign up for services..
