NWS: Severe storms possible Wednesday
Unsettled conditions move into Eastern North Carolina Wednesday afternoon into Thursday as the remnants of Ida pass to the north and a cold front sweeps eastwards across the region. This will bring an increased threat for thunderstorm activity and breezy conditions to much of ENC into Thursday morning before fair weather returns, right in time for Labor Day weekend!
